Advisory Board and School Improvement Consultant
Lee Lucas - Safeguarding specialist
Lee Lucas is the Safeguarding Specialist on the Advisory Board at Blue Skies School. She has had a long-standing professional relationship with the school and has delivered safeguarding training to staff for several years, supporting them to stay compliant with statutory guidance and confident in their ability to keep children safe from harm.
With over 30 years of experience in education, Lee has worked across a range of settings, including local authorities and individual schools. She is currently the Head of Safeguarding, Attendance, Exclusion and Admissions for The Thinking Schools Trust, where she supports 26 schools across the South West, South, and South East of England.
Lee is passionate about amplifying the voice of the child and understanding the impact of lived experience on young people. She thoroughly enjoys her visits to Blue Skies and feels privileged to support the school’s continued development as part of the Advisory Board.

Paddy Behan - Behaviour specialist
Paddy has spent over 15 years working in environments providing support to individuals (adults and children) whose behaviours might be described as ‘complex’ or ‘challenging’. These environments have included family homes, schools, residential care homes, supported living services and specialist hospitals. Paddy believes that assessment must be as focused on the environment as it is on the individual. Understanding the relationship between an individual and their environment is key in developing successful support strategies. Paddy holds a BSc in Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities and an MSc in Applied Behaviour Analysis.
